A major failure of the 4 G of Verizon network raises questions about the stability of the new technology LTE for the carrier for the first time. Last night, the LTE network outages were reported across the country, and LTE remains today. Some reports note that 4 G-capable phones like the HTC lightning are still able to jump on the Verizon less fast 3 G network, but 3 G is not available for some subscribers.
Verizon can benefit not first place as the number one U.S. carrier much longer, but the company is still widely seen in a positive - especially when light stacked against rival AT & T. If the carrier can obtain online network soon, his reputation will probably bounce back quickly, but a prolonged outage could be bad news for the relatively flawless image of the company.
LTE is a form of 4 G, the so-called "next generation" of mobile network technology. While the term has generated much controversy, as Verizon LTE 4 G networks are capable of speeds of data globally those possible with 3 G.
