We do are not monitoring the location of your iPhone, said Apple (Appolicious)

After only a week of criticism from privacy advocates and the public in General, Apple (AAPL) today released a Q & A on the data location that details how the company manages location on iOS devices data.

The first two points can be read here:

1 Why Apple is followed by the location of my iPhone?

Apple is not tracked the location of your iPhone. Apple has never done and has no intention to ever do so.

2. Then why everyone so fears on this subject?

Provide mobile users with fast and accurate location information while preserving their security and privacy raised very complex technical questions that are difficult to communicate in a quotation. Users are confused, in part because the creators of this new technology (including Apple) have not provided enough education on these issues to date.

Time will tell if this necessary step in public relations facilitates the pressure on Apple (and Google) and clears any misconceptions held by public officials and elected officials.
