Apple to Lion of version Mac OS X through Mac App Store

Apple plans to the next major update of its operating system, Mac OS X Lion, through its store of the desktop application, well AppleInsider reports quoting people familiar with the case.


Mac App Store, launched in January, 2011 is the Apple attempted to apply the concept of boutique app that he had popularized through the iOS ecosystem to desktop applications.


If Apple starts in effect offering the Mac OS X Lion through the Mac App store, it will progress in the popularization of the store among the users. The store holds Apple software but also third-party apps with Apple receiving a reduction of 30% of each purchase.


Apple will also provide Lion in the traditional form of optical disc for users with connection to the slower internet, AppleInsider reported. We will find probably more on the plans of distribution of the Lion to this year Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), to be held from 6 to 10 June in San Francisco.
