Led by Groupon, all the days-deal ticket sites have been developed over the past year.

"Our success is based on the sale of tickets and fill seats and GrouponLive gives us another platform to achieve this," Live Nation CEO Michael Rapino said in a statement.

Live Nation has stimulated the sale of tickets in the first three months of the year through price reductions and a sweep of A-list acts going on sale, including U2, Prince, and Lady Gaga. But sales mid April began to slow down, which can lead to more updated tickets.

Last year, North American concert income fell 8 percent to 4.25 billion, hurt by the application and the ticket prices high, according to trade magazine Pollstar. This year, Live Nation is reservation less shows and price cut for the seats which are distant from the scene.

Rapino said that more artists are trying to back-loges fans therefore more expensive can attend performances.
