Occipital, the mobile computer vision startup and the manufacturer of eBay acquired RedLaser, published version 4.0 of the 360 Panorama, an iPhone and iPad 2 application for taking and sharing panoramic photos. On Tuesday, Panorama 360 4.0 has a bold new look, more social features and the possibility for captured images improve dynamically and to fix themselves over time. The application is compatible with the iPhone 4, 3GS iPhone, iPod Touch 4 G and iPad 2.

The startup also Unveils 360VERSE, a site powered by the community for the discovery of the panorama. The new site is intended to allow users to dive into the 360-degree views that other users are capture elsewhere in the world.
