Here is a public service announcement for a recently purchased manual for BlackBerry owners. If your new toy of Staples, you will want to follow this link for a list of serial numbers compiled by Engadget. Why? It seems that a faulty batch of these lovely rules escaped to the wild and landed at the Office supply chain.
The new comes from an internal document of Staples, stating that "approximately 900 manual BlackBerry units have been determined to be defective." The seller provided the serial numbers so that we can take these off the coast of the floor and return immediately. "The sheet also said that letting these articles on store shelves"can cause a customer to buy a unit that will not work." "No other information is not provided, although given that some of these models were likely purchased - manual launched in April and has done very well so far - it is something, we can expect to see the Research In Motion to comment publicly in short time.
Engadget list contains serial numbers 935 alleged to be affected by whatever the fault of hardware is. Although if you bought yours to Staples and it does not, or suddenly ceased work, or become thinking and tried to kill you, it is probably a bet safe everything back to the shop and request a replacement. Except where it is currently trying to kill you, in which case you probably have a completely different set of problems to worry about right now.
Kidding aside: Staples shoppers who have purchased a manual recently, go and check this list out, if your tablet is in fact working.
