Sony begins partial PlayStation Network operation (AP)

TOKYO - Sony began to restore its PlayStation Network service in the United States and in Europe on Sunday after the closure of the service for almost a month earlier due to a massive violation of security affecting more than 100 million online accounts.

Restored operations limited mainly to online games, chat and music streaming services. Sony said it aims to fully restore the PlayStation Network in late May.
