Amazon Kindle to be sold to 3 100 Walmart stores

CHICAGO - Wal-Mart Stores Inc. said Thursday that it would start selling Amazon.com Inc. Kindle this week, as Amazon continues to lead the electronic reader in several stores to attract potential buyers.


Amazon, the largest worldwide online retailer, has introduced the Kindle in 2007 market leaders. Since then, the company has made to competitors such as Barnes & Noble Inc. corner and Apple Inc. popular iPad, two devices Wal-Mart sells already.

Wi - Fi and 3 G Kindle devices will be priced at $189 and Wi - Fi Kindle with special offers is price $114, at prices Amazon.com charges on its own Web site.
