Walmart has announced that it will add Kindle for Amazon for its e-readers. The Kindle will join two similar devices, the mega retailer is already - the Barnes & Noble nook color and borders the Kobo e-reader.
The Kindle, which has been available in select stores Target and Best Buy for some time now, will be sold at 3,200 locations in Wal-Mart through the United States. It will be priced at $189 for wifi - with 3 G model, $139 for the wifi only model and $114 for wifi with "special offers" model corresponding to the Amazon price.
E-books have been enjoying steady growth success and support over the past two years, with virtual libraries providing a selection still more books and features.?New uses for e-books are cropping each day, and soon, you may even be able to verify Kindle ebooks to your local library branch.
