Plans to bring Sony's PlayStation Store online Tuesday, May 24, according to a report published Thursday.
Gamasutra said that it had obtained a memo from Jack Osomo, NHP for Sony Content Manager, has written to its developer partners.
The memorandum, Osomo revealed that the PlayStation Store, which houses the demos of the company, its downloadable content packs and its video rental services - should be online by May 24 except unforeseen difficulties.
For publishers, this means that they will be able to push content that has been delayed by the failure of PlayStation Network, which is a step-by-step process of being brought back online. All of the United States now has access to multiplayer services of NHPS, but remains with her and store down - gamer access at the "Welcome Back" free games and Sony film rental promised in compensation for the failure.
Sony also asked users to download a mandatory firmware update that apparently helps to secure the system. This update also requires users to change their password. Sony has PlayStation Network briefly, however, after a flood of password resets awash with its servers.
Content which was originally scheduled to go live on April 26 will now be pushed on 24 may, launches with subsequent content few days until 3 June, Gamasutra reported.
"If there are concerns, we are willing to consider the setting of the date of publication of your content on this calendar," said, quoted by Gamasutra Osorno. "Adjustments will will on the basis of case by case".
